Amimon

Amimon is a semiconductor company without manufacturing factory, which is the first to use wireless non compressed HD video for general connection of CE video equipment. Its uncompressed wireless HD interface (whdi ™) enables flat-panel TV and multimedia projectors to connect with all HDTV's video sources through wireless interfaces, with the same quality as that achieved through cable interfaces such as component video, DVI and HDMI ™. Amimon provides all kinds of whdi? Chipsets, modules and reference designs, so that it can carry out wireless transmission of uncompressed HD video stream in 5GHz unauthorized frequency band, with 40 MHz bandwidth in line with FCC regulations, and video data transmission rate equivalent to up to 3 Gbps (including 1080p). With 20 MHz bandwidth, the video data transmission rate can reach up to 1.5 Gbps (including 1080i and 720p), which conforms to the global 5GHz spectrum. Whdi? Has proven that it can penetrate walls and transmit within 100 feet with a latency of less than 1 millisecond. All other wireless solutions are limited to the transmission of compressed video such as MPEG, which is not available for the output of most consumer electronic video devices. Headquartered in Herzlia, Israel, amimon is a venture capital based company with a management team of leading experts in semiconductor, video and modem technologies. The company also has offices in Santa Clara, California and Tokyo, Japan.
